What to Expect

We are an unmanned hostel, please make bookings at least 24 hours in advance to ensure your booking gets seen.

We are on the Hebridean Way and the main bus route between Stornoway and Tarbert.

Booking the hostel is a great way of supporting LHYCA. We ask that you help us keep the place spotless by giving your room and the kitchen a quick clean before you go. We have no cleaning staff and the team are run off their feet with activities in the summer months!

Apart from August the hostel is not staffed at night but late arrivals are no problem if you let us know.
